The Retreat is nestled in a serene location ideal for touring the whole of North Devon and Cornwall and offers an idyllic getaway perfect for families and couples. The South West Coastal Path is famous for its spectacular walking environment and choice of excellent beaches to enjoy and coves to explore.
For the more active there are excellent surfing beaches at Bude, Westward Ho! and Braunton. The fishing village of Clovelly, with its steep stepped cobbled streets and quaint harbour is close by as are the villages of Hartland and Woolsery with shops and village pubs.
Local attractions include The Milky Way, Hartland Abbey, Hartland Point and Lighthouse and RHS Rosemoor Gardens. Alternatively, why not sit in the garden and relax whilst enjoying stunning countryside and coastal views during the day and in the evening unwind while gazing at a star-studded sky.
The accommodations are beautifully furnished, providing a luxurious feel that enhances your stay. One of the highlights is undoubtedly with minimal light and sound pollution.
The Retreat comprises of three luxury cottages;
Owl Barn - a spacious four bedroom barn conversion with private outdoor space and hot tub.
House Martin - a large two bedroom first floor apartment with private outdoor space and hot tub.
Swallow Barn - a two bedroom ground floor apartment with open plan kitchen/dining and living area.
All properties are dog friendly and have access to the private and secure paddocks to allow your dogs to run free.
There is a shared seating area with a charcoal BBQ.
